This portfolio contains a selection of carvings I did mostly while employed at Art Attack, in Edmonton Alberta.

All props are made out of styrofoam and were carved and constructed solely by me. Unless otherwise stated, I did not paint any of these items though I did help out in the Paint Department from time to time when needed.

The images displayed here have all been scaled down to fit the page size and have lost a measure of picture quality. However, if you click on the image it will show the original full sized picture.

Medieval Castle & Catapult

Sections of a castle I made for a Medieval themed course. Unfortunately I didn't get any good pictures of the towers before they were painted as I was the only one working on them and it was a pretty big crunch to get them finished so there'd be time to paint them before they were to be shipped out.

There were 4 tower sections in total, each requiring internal bracing and support. The Tower sections were 4' square by 9' tall. The turrets that fit on top of the towers were 5' square by another 4' tall. In all they measured over 13' tall each when put together.

The entrance door / archway for the castle. Stood about 13' tall.

A working catapult prop. It had a hydraulic piston that moved the arm up and down. Golf balls were shot through a channel in the counterweight and traveled up the arm into the bucket.
